In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aids are custom manufactured from impressions of your ear. They sit partly in the ear canal with a portion visible in the concha — less conspicuous than BTE yet large enough for useful controls and battery size.
ITC works well when ear anatomy allows a stable shell and hearing loss is mild to moderately severe. Because the device fills part of the canal, acoustic coupling can feel natural for many users.
