Speech therapy

Clear speech. Confident communication.

Structured speech therapy for children and adults — especially when hearing loss affects language development.

Communication

Clear speech pathways for every age

Speech and hearing are partners in communication. When hearing loss goes untreated, speech often suffers — and when speech is unclear, social confidence drops. Our speech therapy service supports children and adults alongside audiology so both sides of communication improve together.

Sessions are structured, measurable, and explained to families in plain language. We set realistic goals — clearer words at school, stronger voice projection at work, or improved articulation after a new hearing aid — and review progress regularly.

Many children are referred from our pediatric hearing clinic; many adults arrive after noticing they still mishear words even with new hearing aids. We coordinate both pathways under one roof in Bahria Phase 8.

Speech therapy in practice

Sessions typically last 30–45 minutes and include activities tailored to age — play-based work for toddlers, structured drills for school-age children, and conversation strategies for adults.

Home practice guidance is always provided so progress continues between appointments.

Speech therapy FAQ

Does my child need a hearing test first?

Often yes — unclear speech can be linked to undetected hearing loss. We coordinate audiology and therapy pathways in one clinic so nothing is missed.

How long is a session?

Sessions typically run 30–45 minutes depending on age and goals. Frequency is agreed with families based on severity and availability.

Do you offer home visits for therapy?

Home visits are available in select areas for hearing care; ask our team about speech therapy availability for your location.

How many sessions will we need?

That depends on goals and progress — we review regularly and adjust plans openly rather than locking you into long packages.

Can adults attend alone?

Yes — adult sessions are confidential and paced for professional or social communication goals you define.
